January is all about the Garnet.

Back in 1912 the American National Association of Jewelers decided that the garnet would be the birthstone for January.  The garnet is also the stone for sign of Aquarius.

• You can find garnets in a range of colors; purple, orange, cinnamon, pink and green.
• If you are interested in enhancing your powers of healing, strength and protection, wear a garnet.  Garnets are also helpful in regulating the heart and blood flow and overcoming depression.
• To show affection towards a friend, and assure that you will meet again, give a gift with garnets.
